Adjust the View of Your Project
TeamGantt enables you to customize the information displayed in your project view. Simply click on the View drop-down to use any combination of these options:
1. Hiding or showing columns: Choose to display or hide the columns for Shortcuts, Colors, Assigned, Start Date, End date, Estimated Hours, Actual Hours, and Progress.
2. Task bars: Choose to display the task name in bars, the task name next to bars, assigned people and labels, and percentage in bars.
3. Zoom: Located under the View drop-down (as well as in the top right of the chart via the Magnifying Glass icon), you can adjust your zoom level, plus choose to view your project by day, week, or month. The default is Day View at 100%
4. Date Format: Choose from any of the options shown below:
5. Font size: Adjust the font size on your project view to suit your personal needs or preference. (Note: The default font size is 12px.)
6. Timeline: Choose to display week numbers or show the today indicator.
- Week Numbers - You can choose to display week numbers at the top of your Gantt chart. Week numbers align with calendar weeks (i.e. the first week of January would be w1).
- Today Indicator - A blue line will appear to indicate today's date.
7. Expand all groups: When this is selected, all groups in your project will be expanded.
8. Collapse all groups: When this is selected, all groups within your project will be collapsed.
9. Open Workloads: When selected, this will open the Workloads view at the bottom of the project.
Tip: If you've just made changes to your gantt chart view and it doesn't automatically reflect them, refresh your page, and see if the gantt chart displays the right view settings now.
