Cost-Loaded Scheduling (Available on select paid plans)
Cost-loaded scheduling can help you determine the cumulative cash flow in a given period of time, and how it changes as the project schedule changes.
How to track cost on projects
There are 2 options for adding cost to tasks:
- Budgeted cost
- Actual cost
To enable these Cost columns, you can go to View > Columns
To enter the cost for a task, simply click into either cost column to enter the amount budgeted for the task. Currency will be displayed based on your location.
How to view cost totals
Once you have entered the cost for your tasks, you can view the total cost per month by clicking the Cost tab at the bottom of the Gantt chart. Toggle between Budgeted cost and Actual cost.

In the Cost tab, you can view the cost totals for projects that are open in the Gantt view, as well as the total costs for all active company projects. At this time, costs can only be shown per month. As you update your tasks in your schedule, the changes will appear in real-time in the Cost tab.
